Introduction

Definitions

For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

Artificial Intelligence or "AI" means machine-based systems designed to operate with varying levels of autonomy and capable of generating predictions, recommendations, text, images, code, analyses or other outputs based on provided inputs.

AI Functionality means AI-powered features and capabilities made available through the Stripo platform to assist Users in creating, editing, analyzing, optimizing or managing content, campaigns and related marketing assets.

AI Provider means a third-party provider supplying artificial intelligence models, APIs, infrastructure or related technologies integrated into the Stripo platform.

AI Model means a machine learning or artificial intelligence model made available by an AI Provider and used to process User Content and generate AI Outputs.

AI Output means any text, image, recommendation, campaign, strategy, email draft, code, metadata, analysis or other content generated through AI Functionality.

User means any individual or organization that accesses or uses AI Functionality through the Stripo platform.

User Content means any information, prompts, text, images, templates, email content, URLs, uploaded files, instructions, campaign materials or other content intentionally submitted by a User for processing through AI Functionality.

Prompt means any instruction, question, request, description or other input submitted by a User for AI processing.

Human Oversight means meaningful review and control exercised by the User before AI-generated content is accepted, modified, published, distributed or otherwise used.

Third-party AI Technology means artificial intelligence technologies, APIs, infrastructure, models or related services supplied by external AI Providers and integrated into the Stripo platform.

  1. Introduction

    This Artificial Intelligence Policy ("Policy") explains how Stripo provides AI-powered functionality within its platform, how User Content is processed when AI features are used, and the principles governing the responsible deployment and use of Artificial Intelligence.

    Stripo integrates commercially available AI technologies into its products to assist Users in creating, editing, optimizing and managing marketing content, campaigns and related workflows.

    Stripo does not develop or train proprietary foundation models. AI Functionality is provided through integrations with commercially available Third-party AI Technologies operated by specialized AI Providers.

    Depending on the requested functionality, Stripo may prepare User prompts for processing, enrich prompts with User-provided context, select an appropriate AI Model, orchestrate requests across supported AI Providers, manage service availability and usage limits, and present AI Outputs within the Stripo platform.

    AI Functionality is intended to assist Users and does not replace human judgment, editorial review, legal review, professional expertise or User responsibility for final decisions.

    Users remain responsible for reviewing, modifying and approving AI-generated content before publication, distribution or other use.

    Stripo is committed to implementing AI Functionality responsibly, securely and transparently in accordance with applicable laws, including, where applicable, data protection laws and Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU Artificial Intelligence Act).

    Unless expressly stated otherwise, this Policy applies to all AI-powered functionality made available through the Stripo platform.

    This Policy does not apply to AI services independently accessed by Users outside the Stripo platform.

  2. Responsible AI Principles

    Stripo implements AI Functionality in accordance with the following principles:

    • transparency;
    • accountability;
    • human oversight;
    • User control;
    • privacy by design;
    • security by design;
    • fairness;
    • proportionality;
    • responsible innovation;
    • continuous improvement.

    To support these principles:

    • AI Functionality is optional;
    • AI processing begins only after explicit User initiation;
    • AI does not independently publish, distribute or approve content;
    • AI does not make legally significant decisions on behalf of Users;
    • AI Outputs are suggestions rather than authoritative conclusions;
    • Users retain control over whether AI Outputs are accepted, modified or rejected;
    • Users remain responsible for reviewing AI Outputs before relying upon, publishing or distributing them.

    Stripo does not develop, market or operate High-Risk AI Systems as defined under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.

    The AI Functionality currently available through the Stripo platform is designed to support content creation, editing, campaign development and related productivity tasks and is not intended to determine eligibility for employment, evaluate individuals, perform automated recruitment, assess creditworthiness, determine eligibility for financial or public services, or make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects concerning individuals.

  3. AI Features Available in Stripo

    Stripo provides a growing set of AI-powered features designed to assist Users in creating, editing, analyzing and optimizing email content, campaigns and related marketing assets. AI Functionality may include, but is not limited to, the following:

    1. AI Email Generation

      Users may request complete email drafts based on natural language instructions. Depending on the information provided, generated drafts may include subject lines, hidden preheaders, body content, suggested layouts, calls to action, marketing copy, personalization suggestions and recommended content structure.

    2. AI Content Generation and Editing

      Users may generate or rewrite text, improve readability, simplify or expand content, change tone or writing style, translate or summarize content, generate alternative versions and improve grammar, spelling and clarity.

    3. AI Campaign Generation

      Users may generate marketing campaigns based on business descriptions, campaign objectives, marketing briefs, target audiences, products, services, websites or landing pages provided by the User. AI-generated campaign materials may include campaign structure, messaging, content, audience suggestions, creative direction and related marketing assets.

    4. Website and Landing Page Analysis

      Where supported by the selected feature, Users may provide URLs to websites or landing pages. AI Functionality may retrieve and analyze publicly accessible content from those URLs for the purpose of generating or improving requested outputs.

    5. Processing of Reference Files

      Certain AI features may allow Users to upload reference materials, including PDF, DOC, DOCX, HTML, EML, PNG, JPEG, SVG and other supported formats, for layout analysis, content analysis, structure extraction, generation or improvement of requested outputs.

    6. AI Image Generation

      Users may generate images through supported Third-party AI Providers for use in email templates, campaigns, landing pages, promotional materials and related content.

    7. AI Image Editing

      Available functionality may include background replacement, object removal or insertion, image expansion, image enhancement, prompt-based editing and other capabilities supported by the applicable AI Provider.

    8. Alternative Text Generation

      Users may request AI-generated accessibility descriptions for uploaded images. Generated descriptions should be reviewed before publication.

    9. AI Module and Interactive Component Generation

      AI may generate reusable modules, module names and descriptions, quizzes, surveys, polls, games and other supported interactive components.

    10. AI Strategies, Briefs and Assets

      Where available, AI Functionality may generate campaign strategies, marketing briefs, content plans, creative recommendations, messaging frameworks and reusable AI-generated assets.

    11. AI Conversations

      Certain AI features may provide conversational interfaces that allow Users to iteratively refine requests and outputs. Conversation history may be retained in accordance with Section 8 of this Policy.

    12. Future AI Functionality

      Stripo may introduce additional AI-powered functionality from time to time. Unless expressly stated otherwise, new AI features will be governed by this Policy.

  4. Human Oversight and User Control

    Stripo is committed to ensuring that AI Functionality supports, rather than replaces, human decision-making.

    AI Outputs are produced only after explicit User initiation. Stripo does not automatically publish, distribute, send or approve AI-generated content.

    Users decide whether to accept, modify or reject AI Outputs, and no AI Output is automatically applied to User Content without User action.

    Before publishing, distributing or otherwise relying upon AI-generated content, Users should review it for factual accuracy, completeness, relevance, legal compliance, intellectual property considerations, brand consistency, accessibility requirements, security and confidentiality.

    Final approval and responsibility for the use of AI-generated content remain with the User.

  5. Data Processing

    When a User chooses to use AI Functionality, Stripo processes information necessary to provide the requested feature.

    Depending on the functionality used, processed information may include:

    • prompts and instructions;
    • text and email content;
    • subject lines and preheaders;
    • reusable modules and templates;
    • campaign content, objectives and audience descriptions;
    • uploaded images;
    • URLs provided by the User, including websites and landing pages;
    • uploaded reference materials, including PDF, DOC, DOCX, HTML, EML, PNG, JPEG, SVG and other supported formats;
    • business descriptions, marketing briefs and brand guidelines;
    • conversation history associated with AI features;
    • AI-generated campaigns, strategies, briefs and assets;
    • intermediate processing results and system-generated metadata required to provide AI Functionality.

    Users should avoid submitting confidential information, trade secrets, authentication credentials, payment card information, special categories of personal data or other regulated information unless such processing is necessary, permitted under applicable law and consistent with the User's own legal and contractual obligations.

    Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the rights, permissions and legal basis necessary to submit User Content for AI processing.

  6. Third-Party AI Service Providers

    Stripo delivers AI Functionality through integrations with Third-party AI Providers and supporting technical infrastructure designed to ensure secure, reliable and efficient operation.

    When a User requests AI Functionality, User Content may be processed by one or more Third-party AI Providers selected by Stripo based on the requested feature.

    Stripo acts as an integration and orchestration layer responsible for preparing and enriching prompts, selecting an appropriate AI Model, routing requests, managing usage limits and presenting AI Outputs within the platform.

    In addition to Third-party AI Providers, Stripo operates internal monitoring, logging, observability and analytics components supporting AI Functionality. These components may be deployed within Stripo's own cloud infrastructure or cloud environment under Stripo's control and are operated as part of Stripo's internal systems.

    Such internal components may support service availability monitoring, troubleshooting, performance measurement, usage analytics, workflow optimization, infrastructure health, security monitoring, fraud prevention and abuse detection.

    Infrastructure providers hosting Stripo's environment may process data only to the extent necessary to provide hosting and infrastructure services under applicable contractual and legal requirements.

    Where external organizations process personal data on behalf of Stripo as subprocessors, such providers will be identified, where required, in Stripo's applicable Subprocessor List and governed by appropriate contractual safeguards.

    Stripo may add, replace, discontinue or modify AI Providers, AI Models or supporting technologies from time to time. Where such changes involve subprocessors processing personal data on behalf of Stripo, Stripo will comply with its notification obligations under the applicable Data Processing Agreement and maintain an up-to-date Subprocessor List where required.

    Where supported by the applicable provider, Stripo configures API-based AI services to minimize the use of User Content for model training.

    The relationship between Stripo and AI Providers is governed by applicable contractual documentation.

  7. AI Technologies

    The AI technologies integrated into the Stripo platform may evolve as new models become available or existing providers update, replace or retire services.

    Stripo does not guarantee the continued availability of any specific AI Model or AI Provider, and AI capabilities may change over time.

    Nothing in this Policy grants Users any right to inspect or obtain access to model weights, proprietary algorithms, provider system prompts, internal prompt orchestration, provider safety mechanisms, confidential implementation details or Stripo's internal routing logic.

  8. AI Processing Records and Operational Controls

    To ensure reliable, secure and efficient operation of AI Functionality, Stripo maintains appropriate operational controls and records.

    Such controls may include authenticated access, rejection of invalid or revoked tokens, rate limiting, generation quotas, operational monitoring, automated alerts, logging, service health checks and security controls.

    Operational records may include timestamps, request and response identifiers, model identifiers, processing duration, token consumption, usage statistics, error information, technical diagnostics, User or account identifiers, organization identifiers, project identifiers, subscription plan information and other metadata required for service delivery.

    Where necessary to provide AI Functionality, Stripo may store User prompts, AI-generated responses, conversation history, AI-generated campaigns, strategies, briefs, assets and related processing metadata.

    Such information may be retained for as long as necessary to provide the requested functionality or while the related AI-generated campaign, conversation, asset or other content remains associated with the User's account. Operational, security and diagnostic logs are retained in accordance with Stripo's applicable retention practices and legal requirements.

    Operational records and usage information may be used for service operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, fraud prevention, abuse detection, security monitoring, product analytics, feature adoption analysis, platform improvement, service quality optimization and development or evaluation of new AI capabilities.

    Where operational analytics are performed, Stripo seeks to minimize the amount of personal data processed and applies appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

  9. Content Moderation

    AI Outputs remain subject to safety mechanisms implemented by the applicable AI Provider.

    Stripo may rely on provider-level safety mechanisms and does not represent that it operates an independent moderation layer for every AI feature.

    Where a provider refuses, blocks or limits generation of requested content, Stripo may respect and enforce those provider-level safety decisions.

    Stripo may also suspend or restrict AI Functionality where use violates this Policy, the Terms of Use or applicable law.

  10. Transparency

    Stripo is committed to providing AI Functionality in a transparent and responsible manner.

    AI-generated content is produced using Third-party AI Technologies integrated into the Stripo platform. AI features are identified or presented in a manner intended to make Users aware that they are interacting with AI-powered functionality.

    AI generates content only in response to explicit User requests, does not independently make decisions on behalf of Users, and produces suggestions that may require human review and verification.

    Where required by applicable law or supported by the relevant AI Provider, Stripo may implement technical measures designed to improve the transparency of AI-generated content, including machine-readable provenance information, authenticity metadata, content credentials or other technical indicators associated with AI Outputs.

    Certain AI Providers may independently embed provenance information or content credentials, including through technologies such as C2PA, SynthID or equivalent mechanisms.

    Stripo continuously evaluates legal and technical requirements relating to AI transparency and may introduce additional measures as regulatory requirements, industry standards and technical capabilities evolve.

    Nothing in this Policy limits any transparency obligations that may apply to Stripo under applicable AI, privacy or consumer protection laws.

  11. Acceptable Use of AI functionality

    Users agree to use AI Functionality responsibly, ethically and in compliance with applicable law, this Policy and the Terms of Use.

    Users must not use AI Functionality to generate, facilitate or distribute content that violates law, infringes intellectual property rights, unlawfully processes personal data, promotes violence, terrorism or criminal activity, facilitates phishing, fraud, identity theft or deceptive practices, generates malware, enables unauthorized access, circumvents security controls, facilitates unlawful spam, contains child sexual abuse material, violates sanctions or export controls, or otherwise creates harmful, abusive or illegal material.

    Users remain responsible for prompts, uploaded content, AI Outputs and their use of AI-generated content.

    Stripo reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to AI Functionality where misuse is identified.

  12. Intellectual Property

    Users are responsible for ensuring that prompts, uploaded materials, AI Outputs and published content comply with applicable intellectual property laws and do not infringe third-party rights.

    Nothing in this Policy transfers ownership of Third-party AI Technologies or grants Users rights in underlying AI Models.

    Ownership and permitted use of AI Outputs are determined in accordance with the Terms of Use, applicable AI Provider terms and applicable law.

    AI-generated and AI-assisted content is probabilistic and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, biases or similarities to third-party works.

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stripo does not represent or warrant that AI Outputs are original, non-infringing, accurate or eligible for copyright or other intellectual property protection.

  13. Accuracy and Limitations of AI

    Artificial Intelligence is an assistive technology with inherent technical limitations.

    AI Outputs may contain factual inaccuracies, omit relevant information, be incomplete or outdated, produce inconsistent or unexpected results and require editing, verification or additional context.

    AI-generated content does not constitute legal, financial, tax, medical, professional or regulatory advice.

    Stripo does not represent or warrant that AI Outputs will be accurate, complete, original, suitable for a particular purpose or free from errors.

    Users should independently review and verify AI Outputs before relying upon, publishing or distributing them.

  14. Human Responsibility

    AI Functionality is intended to support Users and does not replace human judgment, editorial review, legal review or professional expertise.

    Before using AI-generated content, Users should evaluate factual accuracy, audience suitability, legal compliance, intellectual property considerations, accessibility requirements, security, confidentiality and suitability for publication.

    The final decision regarding any content created, edited, published or distributed using AI Functionality remains with the User.

  15. No Automated Decision-Making

    The AI Functionality available through the Stripo platform is designed to support content creation, editing, campaign development and related productivity tasks.

    Stripo's AI features are not intended to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects concerning individuals, perform automated recruitment or candidate screening, evaluate employment candidates, determine eligibility for employment, education, financial services or public services, or perform other high-risk use cases identified in Annex III of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.

    All AI Outputs require human review before use.

  16. Reliability and Incident Response

    Because AI Functionality relies in part on external providers and cloud infrastructure, temporary interruptions, degraded performance or service failures may occur.

    To improve operational resilience, Stripo implements reasonable technical measures that may include graceful error handling, retry mechanisms, circuit breaker protection, fail-safe operation, operational monitoring, service health checks, system logging, usage quotas and request limits.

    Where an AI Provider or supporting service becomes unavailable, certain AI features may be temporarily limited or disabled while the remainder of the Stripo platform continues to operate.

    Stripo maintains incident detection and response procedures appropriate to the nature of the AI-enabled services.

  17. Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

    Stripo continuously evaluates the quality, security, performance, reliability and adoption of AI Functionality.

    To support ongoing improvement, Stripo may analyze operational metrics, service reliability, usage statistics, feature adoption, interaction patterns, technical error reports, User feedback, provider performance, processing times, error rates and platform stability metrics.

    These activities may be performed for maintaining platform stability, security monitoring, fraud prevention, abuse detection, troubleshooting, capacity planning, product analytics, improving AI Functionality and the Stripo platform, enhancing User experience, optimizing service quality, evaluating feature adoption and developing or evaluating future AI-powered features.

    Where reasonably possible, Stripo seeks to minimize the use of personal data in analytical processes and applies appropriate safeguards.

    Analytics are performed in accordance with applicable privacy laws, Stripo's Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Data Processing Agreement.

  18. Reporting AI Issues

    Users are encouraged to report inaccurate or misleading AI Outputs, unexpected AI behavior, suspected misuse, technical issues, suspected security incidents, and privacy or legal compliance concerns through Stripo's customer support channels.

    User feedback assists Stripo in improving the quality, reliability, security and safety of AI Functionality.

  19. Changes to this Policy

    Stripo may update this Policy to reflect changes in applicable law, AI Functionality, AI Providers, technology, operations, security practices or Stripo products and services.

    The most current version will be made available through the Stripo website or platform.

    Where required by law or contractual obligations, Users will be notified of material changes before they become effective.

    Continued use of AI Functionality after an updated Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy, except where applicable law requires a different process.

  20. Interpretation of this Policy

    This Policy establishes Stripo's general principles for the responsible use and governance of Artificial Intelligence within the Stripo platform and should be read together with the Stripo Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement where applicable, Subprocessor List and other referenced policies.

    Nothing in this Policy creates contractual guarantees regarding AI performance, guarantees the availability of any AI Provider, Model or feature, limits Stripo's right to improve, replace or discontinue AI Functionality, or modifies rights and obligations established under applicable agreements or law.

    Where an external organization processes personal data on behalf of Stripo, it will be treated in accordance with applicable data protection obligations and identified in the Subprocessor List where required.

    In the event of a conflict between this Policy and a separately executed written agreement, the written agreement will prevail to the extent of the conflict. Otherwise, the applicable Terms of Use will prevail.
