Stripo Release Notes

• Added the option of сo-editing of the email by several users.
• Viewing the history of changes in the email and restoring a certain version of the email was implemented.
• Temporarily added the "Apply the Code" button to apply changes in the code editor. This decision was made to eliminate the problem of editing the code. This button will be removed soon and the changes will be applied automatically.

• In the modules, the display of the module name in the title of the element on the email/template has been added.
• Integration with Instagram Reels is now supported for pulling thumbnail images in the "Video" block.

• The display logic of the Hide on Desktop/Mobile control has been changed, according to which the icon of the hidden element on the desktop will be displayed on the desktop, and only the mobile icon will be displayed on the mobile view.

Feeling a light wind blowing? That’s how smooth a new Stripo release is made. Today we have:

• added a “Preview Border Radius” control to the “AMP Carousel” block. Now you can work with slide previews’ borders in the Settings panel;
• added new templates to the “AMP Form” category;
• added the “Link processing in the text” feature. Now an empty link field or an unknown link will have the “Other” type;
• improved the logic of the “Back” button. When clicking on the “Back” button, a user will be directed to the first project they have access to if access to the project the user was in was denied;
• updated the Standard and Non-standard fonts in the project settings. You can add/change a font family for them;
• improved the Button’s width in the VML. 

Meantime, these issues were blown away, too, namely:

• Sub-controls of the “Highlight email messages with Google Promotional Annotations” control are not aligned.
• The hint icons on the Appearance tab controls are cropped.
• The error when XLS files are being loaded for vendor translations.
• The link type is not saved after copying the email message/template.
• Image glitching and devices’ descriptions are not displayed in the results of tests with “EoA”.

Mrs. Claus had to deal with Santa’s elves to help Stripo release its new functionality, while her husband was busy:

• we renamed the “Appearance” tab to “Styles”;
• added the “Include In” control for the Container;
• added the “Background Image” control for the Container/Structure/Stripe;
• added the “One level up to” option for the settings panel that helps navigate up to the parent element.

After preparing toys for Santa’s mission, Mrs. Claus has also helped to pack away our bugs, in particular:

• The preview of the “Video” block flashes when it is being resized.
• The link input field becomes inactive if the content of the field gets removed.
• The outline of the Container is not fully displayed when blocks are being drag-and-dropped.

• added the “One level up to” option for the settings panel that helps navigate up to the parent element.

Santa’s reindeer in their sleds are impatiently waiting for Christmas to deliver holiday presents, and we don’t make our users wait so we have released the following functionality:

• Email Translate. The upgraded version of the Stripo Email Translate option will allow setting and managing language versions of email messages and templates, working on translations through XLS and JSON files;
• added the ability to create a new version of an already exported email message/template in the “Amazon Pinpoint” email service provider;
• added the “Support of Accessibility” control when exporting email messages/templates to HTML (downloading as HTML).

Our magical reindeer have also helped us take all the issues far away. They are as follows:

• The symbols from the email message/template name get removed during the export process.
• Successful export to the “OpenCRM” email service provider is displayed if the entered data is invalid.
• The functionality that allowed adding the “/” character when working with UTM tags has been removed.
• The bulk actions’ options are not available if an empty folder is selected as the first item.
• The limits are not displayed in the “Plugins” section.

Fixed Issues

Small steps matter. Newly added options in the “Project” settings will definitely come in handy when you edit the email message/template:

• merge tags for «Hubspot» email service provider;
• merge tags and special links for “ExpertSender” email service provider.

Struggles were real. Yet, not anymore! The following issues have been neatly resolved:

• large indents in the “Webhook” export pop-up.
• the activation of “Paragraph bottom space” control in the “General Settings” of “Appearance” activates irrelevant additional controls in the “Mobile Formatting” of “Appearance”.
• inability to set the attribute value for the link in the “AMP - Carousel” block.
• inability to export the email message/template to the “Moosend” email service provider.

“Any new spectacular features?“- you may ask. Well of course we’ve worked hard on adding new and valuable functionality such as:

• “Padding on Desktop/Mobile” control for the “Stripe”.
• “Include In (Mime Type)” control для for the “Stripe”.

Fixing bugs is like a Witcher’s Geralt full-time job. We find bugs, we analyze their damage to the people, and we destroy them. Today we’ve demolished monsters like:

• the ability to hide “Fit to container” and “Size” controls in the “Video” block when the mobile version of the email message is activated;
• the incorrect distance between icons in the pop-up for adding a new icon in the “Social Networks” block;
• the ability to drop the block in the “Stripe”;
• the expanding of the settings panel’s header when switching between menus;
• the displaying of “Image Gallery” indents when scrolling images;
• the block’s color is applied automatically when three characters are entered into the input field of the “Color Picker”;
• the inability to remove “transparent” value in block’s color input field;
• the “Border” style does not work in the “Separator” block.
